Harrison wrote, directed and starred in his first commercial at the wizened age of 8 for “Harry’s Happy Dog Patter”, an intricate contraption he invented to allow you to pet your dog without getting smelly hands.

Since peaking with that masterpiece, Harrison has gone on to direct commercials for lots of people, many of whom have found him funny enough that these days he mostly creates comedy.

Harrison has also had a long history of working with and for children, in entertainment as well as commercials. He directed the fourth season of Disney’s The Book of Once Upon a Time (2018) which took the comedy in a new direction with an all-child cast, and the original series Disney’s Alphabet Street (2019). He also co-wrote and directed the animated children’s films The Way to Teradorah (2022) and Malapan (2023).

When he’s not watching or making pictures Harrison enjoys rock climbing, long walks on the beach and writing about himself in the third person.

Harrison is represented by Clockwork Films in Australia, New Zealand and the USA and Culture Kid Films in Asia.
